When he is in the kitchen he is a MONSTER! He will climb on the bench and proceed to climb on top of the table, climb in Matthias' high chair and then bang on the window or climb into his high chair from Matthias' chair. And then if that is not enough he will pull everything out of the drawers.
So this little item has been keeping me sane... It has been nice to go into the kitchen and know he can't get to me to. When I am around he tends to whine excesively and wants me to pick him up. When I go into the kitchen I also don't have to worry about the mess because the little ones don't bring the mess into the kitchen anymore.
What has been helping you keep sane around your house?

I remember having to come up with imaginative ideas like that when my boys were little... and I've done things like that to keep the grandkids outta certain rooms or areas, too. A mom/gramma has to do what she has to do, huh! LOL!

I so remember those days with my children. My youngest was a climber and it frightened me, but somehow he managed to grow out of it. Now with an 8 mo old grandson and another on the way, I get to experience this all over again. I am blessed.
