Little Helper

Matthias enjoys helping David in the garage.  It can be as simple as sitting on top of the Camaro trying to figure out where he can put a screwdriver.  Or helping David sort through a tub of bolts getting his hands all greasy and dirty.  I am so "thankful" for the little things our children can do with us.
What do your children do to be helpful?

Such a great way for the little ones to learn too! I love the pictures.

Eli is into throwing away dirty diapers. This will be a great skill when the baby comes. My only concern is that he is also throwing out things that shouldn't be thrown out...Gotta keep my eye on the trash can!

He looks like he's having SO much fun too.
Isaac must use a broom whenever he sees one. I suppose it could be called slightly obsessive, but oh well. He's only 2.
Carly has been a huge helper unloading the dishwasher. She's really good about putting the plastic containers away that are in the bottom drawer. I'm so glad it's one less time I don't have to bend over!

Love that pic of him sitting on the car.

Sophie loves getting Will his milk out of the fridge when he's fussy. She's also really into going and getting a plastic baggy for Will's dirty diapers, putting the diaper in it, and hanging it on the door to go out to the trash. Just small things that really are helpful to me!

Well, today Michael Jr. grabbed the kitchen sponge and cleaned my counter tops for me without asking. I'm turning my boys into little clean freaks, oops! Mike blames me for making them that way, I guess that's what happens when I have 3 boys and then a girl last!
