It's A "Love" Thing

This weekend I have the honor of spending it with a bunch of awesome ladies from our church.  We are having a ladies retreat at the Shrine of St. Therese .  I have been very busy with the planning and preparing of this retreat (along with Amanda, Dana, and Rachel: I wouldn't have been able to do it without you ladies! Thanks) so I am so ready for it to be here.  Our theme is "Love" so we have asked several ladies to give us some lessons on "Love."  Hopefully everyone will have a wonderful weekend and bring home with them several great lessons on Love.  Have a wonderful weekend and I will post LOTS of pictures from the weekend later.

We went for a drive Monday night and I took some beautiful pictures of the sunset.  Alaska is a beautiful place to live.  God's creation is amazing. 

 

 

Who's Got Talent?

Saturday night our church family had a talent show.  From what I understand we have not had one in about 10 years.  It was a really fun evening.  Hope you enjoy the pictures from the night.

Teen Skit of Everything (**UPDATE**)

Our teens did a great job with their skit they preformed at the talent show on Saturday night.  I wish I had my video camera...  UGH!   This is so worth seeing.  Our teens pulled it together in about a week.  They all did wonderful I am so proud of the young men and young ladies they are becoming.  This LINK  is just the words to the song, so if you want to see a video like the skit they did.  Look up Everything by Lifehouse on YouTube.   Here are the pictures of our teen that I took.  They of course changed it up a little to make it their own and made it a little more PG rating. 

 

 

  

 

 

  

 

Working Hard w/ Dad

David, Joe and Luke have been working hard to get the Camaro engine in.  These pictures were taken a while ago.  Since then they have done more work to get it running.  One day I hope this will be one of the memories the boys will look back on and say "I am so glad we did that with Dad."  Have a blessed weekend.

We are not going to get a new (used) vehicle as of yet.  Just something that we have been thinking about.

I love my YUKON, however with the boys getting longer legs.... they get uncomfortable fast.

Turf for Tots

Tuesday I took the little boys to Turf for Tots....  Orion enjoyed roaming around and playing with all the toys until a little girl pinched him on the cheek.  Justus and Kaleb collided under the parachute, but other than that we didn't have any injuries. They had a blast and of course when it was time to leave they didn't want to go.  I had to bribe them with french fries to leave.  We will go again, however not every time will we get a treat after wards.  If you ever want to come we go on Tuesdays from 10:30 to Noon.  Have a great weekend.
