I can finally say that All Stars is over. I have mixed feelings about this. I was so thankful that I was able to go to Anchorage with the team, I was able to make sure the teams uniforms were clean and things of that nature. The only thing that started to get old was the noises that little boys are fascinated with. I think our boys had some great memories and came out with positive attitudes through the ordeal. And the one thing that I will hold close to my heart is that the head coach from the Anchorage team said " your team should be going; you have the better team
and I would take your team over ours any day." Joe also said that he was glad that I was able to be there with him. So that is a blessing too, when your children are glad to have you around.
Juneau West came a long way over this season and I am proud of these boys. Another cool thing was being able to see Moose.

Going to Anchorage

Joe's team won the tournament yesterday. So we are off to Anchorage this afternoon. If all goes well we will be home on Tuesday. If they do not advance we will be home Sunday. Pray for safety and no injuries while we are gone and I will update my blog when I return. Because I know you all are wanting to see more "Baseball Pictures". See you soon and God Bless

Juneau West is Undefeated

Undefeated 6 and 0
With all the baseball games that we have been going to you would think
that I would get tired of watching. Not the case with me.
I am having a great time watching Joe play ball.
He is doing an outstanding job. The only thing I am not really enjoying
is trying to keep Matthias content because of the rain.
He doesn't understand why he can't just get down
and play in the wet rocks too! Justus still likes being able to put
the rocks in the puddle and has been know to fill up a soda can with rocks.
Tonight they start playing to see who actually
gets to go to Anchorage for the State Tournament.
Juneau West plays Juneau East again.
The game is at 6:00 pm if anyone wants to come.

Famous

We are famous!!!
When you are in the stands watching the
game you might end up in the news paper.
In yesterdays paper David, Jeannie, Katie and I were in the background.
We are all so serious. What game faces we have.
Juneau West (Joe's Team) is doing well. They won P.O.W 11 - 4 and yesterdays game they won Ketchikan 13 - 7.
This evenings game is at 6:00 if anyone wants to come.

Little Bird Nest

Several years ago we were given a little bird house. We finally put it together and attached it to our fence. Today while Luke was outside he noticed little birds going in and out of the bird house. When he took the top off this is what he saw.

I am amazed at the many tiny things that our God has taken the time to care for. The boys are so captivated by this that they didn't want me to put the lid back on. And this morning Justus asked if he could have a baby "chick" for his birthday. May you have a blessed day and don't forget to look around for the little things that God has blessed your lives with.

God Bless

New Baby

Here is the happy little family.
I was able to take the kids up today and let them see Elijah.
Justus wanted to know if he could come over and play this afternoon.
Matthias just wanted to look at him and he was super curious when Elijah started crying.
Joe and Luke just sat around and did the normal big kid " It's another baby" look.
Geoffrey and Dana I thank you for sharing your precious son with my family.

Baby Wyatt has a name~

Elijah Hugh Wyatt arrived at 10:23 p.m. yesterday, 7/13/08. He weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces and is 19 inches long.
I am so excited for this journey that Geoffrey and Dana will be taking.
I have not seen him yet and have been told that Geoffrey will be posting pictures soon and his web page. So go to his web page soon for the first glimpse of this precious little gift from God.
May the Lord bless Geoffrey and Dana as they raise Elijah.
I can't wait to get my hands on this boy.
God Bless

Happy Birthday Tempest!!!

"13"
Tempest is officially a teenager. She has grown into a beautiful young lady. I have enjoyed watching her grow over the years. I started watching her when she was 6 weeks old. It is hard for me to believe she is already a teenager. She is one of my girls and I am so proud of her.
As you can see from the picture she has truly become a teen, she has to get her beauty sleep!
Happy Birthday Sweet Tempest Girl!
I love you.....

Saying Goodbye to the Baird Family

The Baird Family has been working with the church here in Juneau for a little over 5 years. We have had a lot of good memories with them. They are true examples of workers for God. They have served us here in Juneau and will serve God in Tulia Texas where they are going. We will miss them in Juneau, however we know that were ever they go they will strengthen God's people and bring smiles to every ones lives that they touch.
God Bless and Safe Travels Baird Family

Happy 4th of July

What do you do on the 4th of July?

In Juneau we spend the 4th at the parade that starts at 11am. This year the parade was really long and it didn't get over until 12:45. Normal weather is rain, however we were blessed in that it did not start sprinkling until after the parade was done. After the parade we head up to Cope Park and have the traditional picnic with our Church family. Here are some of the pictures of the day. I hope you had a blessed day and are as thankful for your freedom as I am. God Bless

2 Campers

Katie and Luke headed of to Camp Yamhill yesterday. Camp Yamhill is located just outside of Portland, OR. I myself have never been to a camp there, however I did go to a Paden reunion and it is a beautiful place. My good friend Rachel's parents, James and Nancy Hinds; live near Portland so they were kind enough to pick up our children
and care for them while they are there for camp.
It is such a blessing to know they will be taken care of.
They will be attending a challenge camp.
Climbing poles, using a zip line and many other things.
All of these activities will be centered around trusting God.
I am excited for them both. It will be a fun experience for them.
Please pray for them this week and
as they travel back home on July 7.
God Bless
