Roof Progress (week 5.5)

A lot was accomplished on the roof yesterday. Mike Boone, Kevin Henderson (who took a day off of work to come help) and Jon helped David sheet the front and back of unit A. They started putting tar paper up, however they were all so tired they put that off until today. But because we live in a rain forest we never know what the weather is going to do. This morning at 3am the wind picked up and the tarp started banging around. David was out stringing a rope so it won't bang as much at 5:30 this morning. And now it is raining and Jon and David are putting tarps over the sheeting. So much for the 50% chance of rain; it is pretty much down poring as I type this. No work today. They have to wait for another nice day to do the sheeting over unit B and finish tar papering. Thank you so much to Mike and Kevin for all your hard work. God has blessed us so much because of our brothers in Christ. We wouldn't be able to accomplish this much without them. David and I are so thankful for all the help we have been getting during this remodel. God continues to show us his LOVE by our family here in Juneau. I pray God will shower his blessings on them because of their kindness to our family. Thanks again! Enjoy the pictures from yesterday. P.S. Thanks Janet for bringing the guys drinks and dessert too!
