Walking on Ice

Saturday we took an adventure on the Mendenhall Lake. We bundled up the boys and headed to the ice. During the winter it gets so cold outside it is safe to walk on the ice up to the face of the Glacier. We did make it to the face, however the bigger boys and Matthias (on David's back) went that far. You are probably asking why a pregnant lady in her 8th month would even want to do something like this? Well what can I say I am crazy. We really had an enjoyable time and got some wonderful pictures. And although towards the end Matthias got extremely fussy and was so tired that I had to carry him in my arms half way across the lake to the truck. It really was an amazing adventure. So enjoy the pictures and if you ever are thinking about walking on ice, I recommend it. It sure makes for great family memories.
