Sunday afternoon was beautiful and cold. So David took a few of the kids. (along with the Jones family) to the glacier for another trek on the ice. I am constantly amazed at the beauty that surrounds us here in Juneau. Sometimes it is so nasty and rainy that I wish I were somewhere else. Then the SUN appears and I am amazed at all the beauty that God put in this one tiny spot on this big earth. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else (that does not mean that I do not wish to travel somewhere else for a little more warmth). I am content in my blessing God has given me.
God is Good!!!

Looks like so much fun for everyone. It was a nice day, but we just hung around at home. A little bit too pooped to do much.
what wonderful pictures - the ice is amazing!
although, i'm a bit uncomfortable walking on it now that there was an article on the juneau empire about not walking on the ice because the glacier calves in the winter, just call me paranoid!
