So here are the blessings Joe recieved for his 13 birthday:

Joe, you will make mistakes in your "Teen Years"
an throughout your life.
But by the Love and Power of GOD
those mistakes can be erased.
Never leave a job 1/2 done or the truth 1/2 told

When you have lived 13 years five times you will be
ready to retire from your life's work.
Just remember you never retire from God's work.

who will have known the Christ who lives for ever.

No matter how rough the seas of life get
He is always there to throw you the life saver of His Love.
There is an old phrase which says "Pennies from Heaven".
When you find a penny consider it a blessing
and a reminder to bless another with a word or action.
In 13 quarters you will be over 16yrs. old.
Your teen years are among the most important
for serving your God.
Chocolate is always a treat just like hopping
into you "Teen Years" is always a
longed for treat.
Hop into them following Jesus and
they will be good years.
Joe your body is the Temple of God!
Care for it well.
Always use it in a way to Praise God.

That is a neat tradition. We never had any birthday traditions when I was growing up. But I would like to have some for Marie and the rest of our future children. By the way, I like your new colors and stuff.
