VOTE!!!!

Today is the day we as a US citizens vote for a new president. I am declared independent so I can vote for whichever party I want. Their are good qualities to each party that I like and of course with the good you also have the bad. I am one of those people who really does not pay attention to politics until I really have to. And I don't really like to talk about who is running and who I am going to vote for. I have many friends and family members who like to argue and debate about these topics. I would just rather avoid these arguments altogether. However I am not going to form a bad opinion of someone because they think differently than I do. My point is that today it is important to get out an just Vote. I have been listening to the christian radio station and their seems to be a lot of talk of spouses and friends who don't agree on this topic and so they fight and can't come to terms as to why the other can't see things their way. This to me is absurd. I want my children to see that you are entitled to your own opinion. And no matter how you disagree with others that you show LOVE to the people you disagree with. In my opinion it is extremely important to Vote. I want to set the example to my children that even if you are in a party or undeclared that it is a privilege to cast your vote.

Who ever we choose as the next president will have a huge job. But God is the one who is really in control. Let us not forget this today as we go out and VOTE.

May the Lord bless you today.

Well said Lela! I am reminded of Gal. 5:25-26.
"Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking, and envying eash other."

You got to also remember who gives us our freedom of religeon and who can take it away and THAT is when you stand.
