Sunday afternoon David took the older children to the Mall and other places to do some birthday shopping for me. It was nice to have some quiet time with just Matthias at home. I took advantage of the situation and started picking up the house and doing the dishes. When I was almost done with the dishes I noticed Matthias was quieter than normal. Being a Mom when things go quiet I start investigating. I found Matthias at the end of our couch where we keep some of the kid books relaxing and enjoying a book. Amazing what happens when the older children leave him alone.
It was a really relaxing Sunday afternoon and I even got a nap.
