January 17- Katie attended her first dance. It was called the Snowball dance. We got the dress online, it is really hard to find modest dresses for ladies. After all the work of doing her hair and make up, she was able to go out to dinner with her friends and then go hang out with them until the dance started at 9PM. I forgot how late dances started. I was going to pick her up at 11 PM, however after and hour she called home and asked me to come get her. She told me her feet really hurt. I don't blame her, because if you can see her shoes in the picture you will understand too! She is turning into a beautiful christian young lady. She has truly blessed my life.
January 18- My sweet Katie helped in the planning of a surprise baby shower. I did have a couple clues as to what was going on, however it was a great time. I wasn't able to take pictures, but Rachel did. So if you want to look at them her blog has several pictures of the shower.
January 21- I hosted the play group. These little people sure do have a good time together. And they sure know how to make a big mess. Carly told her mom she wanted to do her hair like a teacher because that is how Miss Lela likes it. In some of the pictures below you can see her acting like the teacher by reading the 3 others a book. In another picture she and Justus are reading the story of Jesus' birth. When they came to the angel part Justus said " Do not be afraid for I bring you good news." Just makes your heart feel good when your children learn about God and they remember. It was a busy day, however it was well worth it.
January 22- I had my weekly Dr. appointment and found out by their records I am only just starting my 36th week and am dilated to a 3 already. However by my calculations I am almost starting my 38th week. I do not feel it will be much longer until this little one is here.
God has been so good to us and I am so thankful for the blessings we have. I pray that God will bless your lives also. He is our provider and our great comforter. May you find your strength in Him who loves you. God Bless!

Great pics. Katie looks great all dressed up.
Leave it to my daughter to be the "bossy pants" and take charge of the other ones in playgroup. She is so funny. She doesn't even call it a pony tail, she refers to it as fixing her hair like a teacher. What a character. I'm afraid I know where she gets it.
Rachel
Carly is following in her mother's foot steps. Rachel was always the teacher and always planned the play for the day.
Cute pictures. You're in our prayers as you get closer to your delivery date of the new Paden boy. Love, Nancy Hinds
