Hiking Thunder Mountain

Thunder Mountain is one of the Paden's favorite hikes. David tries to take our boys up at least once a year. This year because of baseball Joe wasn't able to go. So David took Luke and Cody. Cody is from Arkansas and has been here in Juneau for about 1 year. He moved up here with his Grandma and His Mom. Cody has been a blessing to our family and we have enjoyed having him around. We will surely miss him when he moves back to Arkansas. Anyway Cody told David he would like to hike Thunder Mountain before he left. Sunday the weather was decent enough to give it a try. They left our house about 1pm and David called from the top at about 4:20pm. Coming down is the tricky part because there are some steep parts and you can end up falling. (Which Luke and Cody both did. Thankfully they weren't hurt very bad.)

All in all I think they had a great day. I know they are all sore,

however this being Cody's first time hiking Thunder Mt.

I am sure he is feeling it in several places, but I think the pain is worth the experience.
