So Bruce was giving me a hard time about not updating my blog. So this update is just for him.
Not much going on in the Paden family. Just enduring the rain and trying to keep my sanity. That is sometimes hard when you have 5 kids. One day at a time and I keep reminding myself that "Tomorrow is a new day, with no mistakes in it."
VBS is this week and I am in charge of the snack station. Things are going great. Monday night we had 32 kids, last night we had 48. (To bad Bruce is not here because I think he would be getting the pie.) Two more nights of fun to go.
One thing that came out of VBS is I met one of my sister Sara's friends from Ketchikan. Her name is Angie Stromberg. That was encouraging. She has been here for 2 years and lives just behind the church building. She has 3 children and they all seem to be really enjoying VBS.
Well I will try to post pictures later. It is so encouraging to hear from my friends and family so please continue to leave me your comments. Gods Blessings to all.

Yeah!!!!! You are alive!
I am glad VBS is going so well. If the pie would be cold I would welcome it right about now!
I preached in a little town about 30 miles away last night and on the way home God put on a "light" show. Yes, it was an electrical storm ~ fun to watch at a distance.
God puts on "shows" everyday, we just need to be alert. The VBS kids were probably a pretty good "show" to watch. I am glad Christians are there to interact with them!
God Bless, Bruce
you are doing a great job with the snack station. the kids are so curious every night wondering what creation they will get to make and then eat. lots of fun for all.
