David, Joe, and Luke took our canoe out on Mendenhall Lake on Sunday. I was told by David later that it took them 55 minutes to get to the rock where they left the canoe to walk to the face of the glacier. On the way back it only took 26 minutes. The head wind was pretty strong and cold. They had a fun time and will more than likely do it again.

Great pics and sounds like a fun adventure. I'm impressed that David took that picture of the flower in the rock. Very artistic!
