Here We Come.....
Our 3 older children are at Camp Yamhill this week. The camp actually starts on Sunday, however David and I are blessed to know Rachel's parents who live near by and are willing to care for our children and drive them to camp. This is the second year James and Nancy have done this for us. I can not express how grateful I am for their friendship and their willingness to do this for us. I am comforted with the knowledge that they are well cared for and loved while with this wonderful family. So I thank you both again.
This camp revolves around our challenge course. Campers are divided into age groups from 10-13 and 14-18 years old and spend most of their time on the ropes course, together. Whether on the rock-climbing wall, zip line, high circuit, or one of 45 other elements, campers will learn experiential lessons about overcoming fears, working as a team and how these lessons apply to our spiritual lives. In the evenings both age groups reunite for activities including a moonlight hike, campfires and devotionals.

Katie and Luke went last year and had a great time. All 3 of them were excited to go and I already miss them so much. The house is to quiet without them. Please pray God will touch their hearts through their experience while at camp.
**On another note Rachel told me yesterday that Carly was upset because our 3 got to go see her grandparents and they didn't have tickets. Carly even wanted to go in Katie's carry on. We are blessed with such great friends and so blessed to have a wonderful family in Christ.

I know they will have a great time. WIsh we all could go and enjoy the camp atmosphere too.
I'm very envious that they are at Yamhill. I was often out there when I was in high school and college. I'm sure they will have some amazing experiences that will stick with them for the rest of their lives.
Rachel
This is a great summer tradition.
